By JS I bought this on sale at a T-Mobile store; it's been out of stock for a while at Amazon. It does exactly what it's meant to do. Doubles the amount of time you can leave the myTouch 4G unplugged. No more worries about doing all the fun things this great phone can do, but not making it through the day. Now, long days are welcome! The only negatives are this case turns the slim phone bulky (but protects it), and it's made of black rubber material to which lint & dust stick. 9 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Disappointed By JRD Easy to use, makes the phone too heavy. Most disappointing: the powerskin battery only adds 25 to 30% additional life to the phone battery. I think this is because the powerskin is always trying to force charge the phone battery, even if the phone battery is already fully charged. I found by using the powerskin, without plugging into the phone, a much better idea. By waiting until the phone battery is low before plugging the powerskin into the phone would quickly recharge the phone battery. Then unplugging the powerskin. Using this method more than doubles the endurance. Recommendation: All this plugging & unplugging to get better endurance is a pain. However, if the manufacture would design a simple On/Off switch to the powerskin, it would be perfect. Possibly adding a battery management circuit would also be helpful. Note: I considered my powerskin may be defective, but I ordered two of them, and both do the same thing. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. It works great! By Dalila Cruz I wasn't so sure about buying the rechargeable case due to some of the negative feed back, but I bought it and it works great. It keeps my phone charged all day and I have no problem with the force charging like others. The case is very light, it does make the phone a little bulky but it's worth it. I'd rather have a full battery all day then a skinny phone with a battery that dies before the end of the day. I recommend this case to anybody who has a 4G. See all 25 customer reviews...
